After these cooler mornings and evenings I have found myself dreaming of all things fall (pumpkin spice latte anyone?). Buuuuuuut, the thing is, as much as I love fall-summer really is my favorite season. In the cold and dark days of winter I long for sandals, tank tops, and windows down. So, even though I'm really looking forward to fall, I really want to savor these last few weeks of summer and take in everything it has to offer before I say goodbye.
One final backyard bbq is just what I need to relish in the wonders of late August. Tomatoes, peaches, watermelon are still in abundance. Zuchini and squash are begging to be eaten in a cheesy casserole. And the stores have some great deals on summer decor. You can find everything from outdoor furniture to cute string lights for next to nothing. So before getting out the pumpkins let's light up that grill one last time and celebrate Labor Day in style.
Here are a few things I found around the web to ensure your last fling is a hit!
I have found a similar chair and cups for sale at a lot of drug stores (think walgreens and rite aid) for 75% off.
This is a perfect labor day table setting. Have any leftover 4th of July decorations?
No matter what your fall plans bring don't forget to make time for a few more late night swims, catching fireflies, and eating that last tasty tomato.
